My name is Susan Donovan and I provide specialist services to help individuals become effective influencers and innovators.
I believe that to be effective leaders, coaches, presenters and influencers, we need to be fully in the moment with others: able to give them the experience of being understood, and to think on our feet as we elegantly and collaboratively explore the relevant value we bring. Enabling the experience of being understood, then innovating and appropriately influencing, is actually quite a big ask! It takes emotional intelligence, communication mastery and out-of-the-box creative thinking which could take years to master. I've been working with organisations on the critical skills and mindsets of influence and innovation for almost 2 decades. I have a track record of creating highly effective and engaging interventions to help individuals and teams pick up and run with these skills. Presence: enabling your most coherent and adaptive self at work In these increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous times, our ability to innovate and influence is only as good as our ability to be sensitive and receptive to our clients. These essential abilities require us to not only be self-aware, but to also self regulate our own anxiety, which, as subtle as it may be, interferes with innovation and influence. Both self-awareness and self-regulation are aspects of a high performing state and coherent state called 'presence' which underpins all of my work. |
